  1. PMP Solution 93

B and D. In an adaptive or agile life cycle, the sponsor and customer representatives should be continuously engaged with the project to provide feedback on deliverables as they are created and to ensure that the product backlog reflects their current needs. The two processes (Validate Scope and Control Scope) are repeated for each iteration.
    C. In an incremental life cycle, the deliverable is produced through a series of iterations that successively add functionality within a predetermined time frame. Therefore, the two processes (Validate Scope and Control Scope) are repeated also for each iteration.

In a predictive life cycle, the project scope, time, and cost are determined in the early phases of the life cycle. In this case, Validate Scope occurs with each deliverable or phase review and Control Scope is an ongoing process. Therefore, right answer is A.
