    Fast tracking is a schedule compression technique in which activities done in sequence are performed in parallel. On the other hand, Crashing is a technique used to shorten the schedule duration for the least incremental cost by adding resources. So, Resource leveling is a technique in which start and finish dates are adjusted based on resource constraints with the goal of balancing the demand for resources with the available supply. The difference between resource smoothing and resource leveling is that in the first the critical path does not change. Therefore, correct answer is C.
